Im not unhappy that DocScanner was rewritten—there were some bugs in the old version that drove me crazy (such as non-working DropBox support). But this revision is a mess. It crashes frequently, the interface is non-intuitive, and some features just dont plain work, or work "wrong": recently I tried to scan a multi-page document, and despite the multi-page setting being turned on, the app refused to do anything but separate it into separate docs (with no clear way to combine them). Needs a lot of work.

What a big mess how can we get back old one that was way better and usefully

This app is now essentially useless since the rewrite. Too bad I cant give 0 stars. I want my $6 worth - buy me a Starbucks gift card! After taking a picture of a document, it gets stuck in a processing loop where a "processing complete" banner keeps showing up but when you go into documents, theres nothing. You can close the app via the multitasking doc and restart app, but that wont help because it "remembers" what it was doing and continues to do so. App use to be so useful. Now I just take a picture in camera app and see the document from photo stream on my computer.

What happened to my trusted DocScanner? The new version is complicated and faulty. I shoot portrait mode and it ends up in landscape mode. It doesnt crop like it used too. The result is never as good as before. Please, make the previous version available again!

Auto-crop does not work. Multi-page document does not work. All scans are blurry. It detects original always in wrong format and shrink and or skew original. Slow as hell. Drained battery in minutes while trying to have this useless app to do something right.

Useless, a disaster! We expect an update soon.

Since the last update the scans are of poor quality combined with crashes. I want the old version back.

Useless since iOS 6. Dont waste your money or time right now.

Since version 6 of this app came out the app crashes, the scans are poor, cannot be modified like previously and the app is sooooo slow that you have time to get to an actual scanner before it treats your scan. So Sad!!! How to wreck an upgrade.

This used to be a good app - simple and easy to use. Then, for what ever reason, they destroyed it by trying to make it fancy and now nothing works properly - and i did not want all that extra garbage - thats why i picked it in the first place. If there was a way to sue the developer for my money back, i would do it just out of principle. It is completely useless at this point.

I love this scanner App and I use it a few times a day. I thought it was fantastic before and now with the new 6.0 compatible upgrade it just got better. Great job guys!

upgraded to the latest version. it turned a great app into a real mess. 1st update didnt run at all. this last update is agonizingly slow - takes 5-10 minutes to load with 75 or so scans filed away. it cannot be recommended in its present form. fv

I totally agree with you, Canatix! It WAS the best scan app at the first beginning, more than 1year ago, I think! After the latest 3-4 upgrades or so its became an useless totally mess! After they changed completely the design, its worst with every upgrade! Seems like they changed the developer or something! Im just wondering why they dont "downgrade" to the oldest stable version?!

I had to dump it for a new program after few recent upgrades. I would still give the old version 5 stars, but for the new version, it is absolutely waste of money.

Please change the app icon and improve the app layout and UI design. please add feature to share via iMessage, mail, Facebook, and SMS. Please add your contact info inside the app so that people can easily send feedback.

Ive used earlier versions of this app for years and it was really good. This version crashes and hangs making it completely useless. It has become a disappointing and frustrating waste of time and money.

Ive used this program for years. But with recent updates I find it cumbersome and incorrectly importing my photos to PDF. Sorry, but Im going to have to switch to another product.

Writing for v6.0.12 (4+), iPhone 4, iOS6 The interface is actually okay. The hang-time between each scan when creating multi-page PDFs was very annoying, though. I gave up and made a photocopy instead. Maybe this will be different on a newer phone, but without better comparative documentation from the developer, Id warn users to spend their money elsewhere.

Dreadful disappointment. Total waste of $4.99. All the hype in the description seems false. I am using an iPad and none of the documents are legible after scanning. The information about how the app interacts with other apps seems correct but its of no value when the stored doc is useless.

This is inconsistent, sometimes it works well, most of the time it crashes or shuts down after it scans or sometimes doesnt do anything. How do we get our money back? Unreliable.
